An integrated inventory management and website system designed for antiques dealers, by an antiques dealer

What is AntiquesManager?

AntiquesManager is an integrated tool for

  • managing your antiques inventory and customer information;
  • keeping your website up-to-date without duplicating effort; and
  • analyzing your business to improve your sales.

AntiquesManager combines an easy-to-use database that stores all of your critical information about your inventory and customers with a proven antiques website design.

Why AntiquesManager?

The most common reason why websites fail to deliver is that dealers fail to keep them up to date. If a customer visits your site today and likes what she sees but returns two weeks later and nothing has changed, you’ve lost her forever.

Easy to say, but difficult to do. When you have hundreds of unique objects in your inventory, keeping a website up to date can be time-consuming. AntiquesManager solves this problem by managing your inventory through a database.

Building a website and maintaining your inventory are the first steps to effective online selling, but in order to make the most of your investment, you need to understand who your customers are and what they want. The AntiquesManager database captures critical sales and customer information, enabling you to analyze key information about your business.

Website Features

Clear Menus

Our menus get your customers to the items they want to see quickly. We have minimized the number of clicks it takes for users to find what they want through a simple hierarchical left-hand menu that organizes your inventory by categories -- categories you choose based on your inventory. Basic information -- links to your show schedule, contact information, and other links -- run across the top of the page.

Simple Navigation

Although some web designers favor the use of icons or photos to represent categories, we believe that words, not pictures, are the way to go. You are asking users to do something besides look at your inventory if you expect them to figure out that a picture of a chest of drawers means “case furniture.”

Full Descriptions

Our system presents a full description of each item, because we believe that including detailed descriptions, dimensions, condition reports, and other information instills confidence in internet shoppers, and building trust is key to a successful site. Our category-based page design delivers descriptions and photos on the first click so that users can scroll through a category rather than having to click back and forth to see different items.

Focus on Antiques

Antique buyers are looking for antiques, and they are not impressed by fancy technological gimmicks. Our pages are clean and easy-to-read.

Easy Uploads

AntiquesManager makes it easy to update your website with only a few clicks. There is no need to cut-and-paste individual photos, and no HTML or other “coding” is required. Our ImageManager tool provides a simple upload process for adding or removing photos.

Customizable Look-and-Feel

Although we provide the structure for your site, you can chose colors, graphics, and logos to “personalize” your site at no extra charge.
